The problem isn’t knowing. It’s remembering.
You already know your insurance renews. You knew last year too. The trouble is that the date lands in the middle of a job, the renewal notice arrives while you’re on a roof, and three weeks later you’re working uninsured without having decided to.
Lapsed public liability cover can void a claim, cost you a contract, or take you off an approved-installer list. It is a filing problem with consequences far out of proportion to the effort of fixing it.

Tell us your dates
At checkout you give us one renewal date to start with. Reply to the welcome email with any others — there is no extra charge however many you track.

We remind you, and we keep reminding you
Emails go out as the date approaches. If it passes without you confirming, we carry on chasing instead of quietly giving up.

That’s the whole interface. We mark it sorted and start tracking next year’s date automatically.
The chasing is the point
Most reminder tools fire once and consider the job finished. A calendar alert you dismiss at 7am while holding a coffee has not achieved anything. Ours run on a ladder, before and after the date:
- 30 days before
- 14 days before
- 7 days before
- 1 day before
- on the day
- 3 days after
- 7 days after
- 14 days after
The ones after the deadline are the ones that matter, and they are the reason this is a service rather than a calendar entry. They stop when you tell us it’s sorted.
What it costs
£29 per month
Every renewal date you want tracked. No setup fee, no contract, no tiers. Cancel whenever you like and it stops at the end of the month you’ve paid for.
Questions
- Is there an app or a login?
- No, and that is deliberate. Everything happens by email. If you can reply to a message you can use this.
- How many dates can I track?
- As many as you have. The price is per business, not per date.
- What sorts of dates do you handle?
- Anything with a deadline that costs you if it slips: public liability and employers’ liability insurance, Gas Safe and NICEIC registration, CSCS cards, vehicle MOT and tax, trade body membership, DBS checks, calibration certificates.
- Do you renew things for me?
- No. We do not touch your policies, take money on your behalf, or contact your insurer. We tell you, in good time, and we keep telling you. The renewing stays with you.
- What if I get a date wrong?
- Reply and tell us the right one. A human reads every reply.
- Will you email me about anything else?
- Only if you tick the box asking us to. Paying for reminders is not consent to marketing, and we do not treat it as such.
- How do I cancel?
- Reply to any email and say so, or cancel through the payment receipt Stripe sends you. No retention call, no form.
Who runs this
Never Lapse is run by Isaac Harrison in South Wales. If you email, you are emailing a person, not a queue. That is the honest scale of it today, and it is why the service does one thing properly rather than ten things badly.
