Never miss a renewal again.

We keep track of the dates that stop you working if they lapse — public liability, Gas Safe, NICEIC, your van’s MOT — and chase you until each one is sorted.

Heads up — your public liability insurance renews in 30 days

Hi Dave,

Just a friendly early heads-up: your public liability insurance is due for renewal on 14 March. No action needed yet — you’ll hear from us again closer to the date.

Never Lapse
Overdue — public liability insurance needed renewing on 14 March

Our records show it was due on 14 March and hasn’t been marked as renewed. If this has lapsed, please treat it as urgent — reply once it’s sorted and we’ll update your record.

The problem isn’t knowing. It’s remembering.

You already know your insurance renews. You knew last year too. The trouble is that the date lands in the middle of a job, the renewal notice arrives while you’re on a roof, and three weeks later you’re working uninsured without having decided to.

Lapsed public liability cover can void a claim, cost you a contract, or take you off an approved-installer list. It’s a filing problem with consequences far out of proportion to the effort of fixing it.

The chasing is the point

Most reminder tools fire once and consider the job done. A calendar alert you swipe away at 7am while holding a coffee has achieved nothing. Ours run on a ladder — before the date, and after it.

  • 30days before
  • 14days before

Before the date After it — these are the ones that matter

They stop when you say so. Reply “done” and we mark it sorted, then start tracking next year’s date. Ignore us and we keep going, because a service that gives up quietly is no safer than no service at all.

How it works

  1. Tell us your dates

One to start with, at checkout. Reply to the welcome email with any others — there’s no extra charge however many you track.

  2. We remind you

Emails as the date approaches, and again after it if you haven’t confirmed. Nothing to check, nothing to log into.

  3. You reply “done”

That’s the whole interface. A person reads every reply.

Is this you?

Built for one-van and small trade businesses, where the paperwork is yours to do and there’s nobody in an office to do it for you.

  • Plumbers
  • Electricians
  • Gas engineers
  • Roofers
  • Builders
  • Joiners
  • Plasterers
  • Groundworkers
  • Landscapers
  • Scaffolders

Typical dates people give us: public liability and employers’ liability insurance, Gas Safe and NICEIC registration, CSCS cards, vehicle MOT and tax, trade body membership, DBS checks, calibration certificates.

Questions

Is there an app or a login?

No, and that’s deliberate. Everything happens by email. If you can reply to a message, you can use this.

How many dates can I track?

As many as you have. The price is per business, not per date.

Do you renew things for me?

No. We don’t touch your policies, take money on your behalf, or contact your insurer. We tell you, in good time, and we keep telling you. The renewing stays with you.

What if I give you the wrong date?

Reply and tell us the right one. A person reads every reply, so there is no form to fight with.

Will you email me about anything else?

Only if you tick the box asking us to. Paying for reminders is not consent to marketing, and we don’t treat it as such.

How do I cancel?

Reply to any email and say so, or cancel from the receipt Stripe sends you. No retention call, no form, no notice period.

What if an email doesn’t arrive?

Email isn’t a guaranteed medium and we say so plainly in our terms. Tell us if you stop hearing from us when you expected to — that’s a fault worth reporting, and it’s the one thing we most want to know about.

Who runs this

Never Lapse is run by Isaac Harrison in Blaenavon, South Wales. If you email, you’re emailing a person, not a queue. That’s the honest scale of it today, and it’s why the service does one thing properly rather than ten things badly.
