Before you sign up
Here’s exactly what happens next, so nothing on the payment page is a surprise.
What we’ll ask you
Checkout is one short page. Besides your card, it asks four things:
- Your name and your business name — so we address you properly and know whose dates these are.
- One renewal to track — for example “public liability insurance”. You add the rest afterwards, free.
- When it’s due — day first, as 14/03/2027. If you’re not sure of the exact day, give us the month and we’ll ask.
- Your business structure — sole trader, limited company, partnership or LLP.
Why we ask about your business structure. It decides what the law lets us send you. Sole traders and partnerships count as individual subscribers under the UK marketing rules, which are stricter than for limited companies. We’d rather ask than guess — and guessing wrong in our favour is exactly what we won’t do.
What arrives afterwards
-
A welcome email, within minutes
It confirms the date we recorded and the exact date of your first reminder. Check it — if we’ve got the date wrong, that’s where you’ll spot it.
-
Then nothing, until it matters
You won’t hear from us again until a renewal is approaching. That silence is the product working.
-
Reminders, then chasing
Reminders at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before the date, then on the day itself and again 3, 7 and 14 days after. They stop the moment you reply “done”.
What it costs, and what it doesn’t
You pay
£24.99 a month, billed by card through Stripe. no VAT charged. That covers your business and every renewal date you ask us to track.
You don’t pay
No setup fee. No charge per date. No tier to upgrade to. No minimum term, and no fee to leave.
Three things we won’t do
- We won’t renew anything for you. We don’t touch your policies or contact your insurer. We tell you, in good time, and keep telling you.
- We won’t market at you. Buying reminders isn’t consent to anything else, and there’s a box you have to tick before we’d ever send you something unrelated.
- We won’t make cancelling awkward. Reply and say so, or cancel from your Stripe receipt. It stops at the end of the month you’ve paid for.
One honest limitation. Reminders go by email, and email is not a guaranteed medium — messages get delayed, filtered or bounced by systems outside anyone’s control. We take real care to send reliably, but don’t make us your only safeguard against a lapse. Our terms say the same thing in more detail.
